Match Chairman,  Janet Dzubow, reported that it was a difficult year due to the weather on Mondays.  She said that most of the problems were due to players playing out of order.  Janet emphasized to the clubs the importance of a continuous ladder system to field their cups, and that players should be listed in order of strength.  She urged clubs to reserve indoor courts as soon as possible and to reserve all day Monday to finish play.

There were several incidences with clubs’ professional staff improperly coaching during the matches.
All players listed on the line-ups must have a USTA# or players will be ineligible.
Marie Zweier, Scheduling, reported that Radnor Valley will be adding a Wednesday team.  Cup 9 from Pennypacker will move from Monday to Wednesday.
Philadelphia Cricket would like to add a Cup 12.
Marie pointed out several clarifications in the rule book, but reported no major rule changes. There was a discussion among members about changing the substitute rule  for challenge matches from  3x to 2x.  If this occurred then we would have to ask that all subs join the USTA the second time they played.
Marie requested notification before the January meeting of any teams wanting to add or drop a team.

Connie Ebert, Admissions, reported requests for re-instatement  of Meadowlands and Green Valley, Pa. to Inter-club.  Connie made a motion for re-instatement pending the completion of necessary information.
